The intel chip may only support IDE but at least you will be able to install w7- some had both options – consult your motherboard manual. Solway XP – Now Win7 19 posts. Here’s the problem, XP reads the GB dynamic disk just fine, but Vista sees the dynamic disk as “offline” and will not reactivate or import.
