Hello, i have some alarms with wireless relays with learning code, is it possible that activate with car remotes? I have some false alarms. I have a project where we are making remote systems per year for a portable machine and we are concerned with transmitter overlap controlling more than 1 receiver with a single remote keyfob.

This obviously limits the odds, but wondering if we are crazy to not use learning codes or if fixed codes offer enough protection. We were thinking of screening the codes with some sort of code reader and only allowing sales of repeat codes to out of state customers and the others locally. Datasheeet do you think?

Thank you for your help. What are these combination keys? Are there specifics ones which I can look up and get specs on? Is there a way I can get some reference schematics for such a design using combination switches? I am based on US would be really great if I can talk to someone about this. Combination keys are what we usually called in factory, actually it is combination of IOs. I have drawn a simple circuit showing this idea, check http: Datasheet of EV usually only covers the encoder part, not the RF transmit circuit, maybe you can buy a RF transmitter module to test first.

January 18, at I think your car remotes maybe not compatible with alarms, so it can not be controlled. Code combination depends on encoder chip used. Code reader would increase the system complexity and overall cost, which I think not worth it.
